Terms of Use

CSV Data Handyman lets you import a CSV file, map source columns to destination fields, apply simple transforms and type conversions, and export the result as JSON, XML, SQL, or a remapped CSV. All parsing, mapping, conversion, preview, and export happen entirely in your browser. The service has no backend that receives your CSV content and no database that stores it.

• You may use CSV Data Handyman to convert, map, and export CSV data that you have the right to process.
• You may not use the service to process content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the server's jurisdiction, including but not limited to content that infringes intellectual property, violates privacy laws, or facilitates harm.
• You may not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service or the infrastructure that hosts it.
• You are responsible for reviewing any generated SQL before running it against a database. CSV Data Handyman does not execute SQL and does not connect to any database on your behalf.

CSV Data Handyman generates output text (JSON, XML, SQL, or CSV) from the data you provide in your browser. Generated SQL can modify or overwrite data when executed. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing in a non-production environment, and backing up data before running any generated SQL. CSV Data Handyman does not warrant that generated output will be valid, correct, or safe for every schema or environment.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure in all circumstances.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebF1, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the service. Because the service is provided at no cost, our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service (i.e. zero).

CSV Data Handyman does not upload or store your imported CSV content. CSV data is processed in-memory in your browser and is not written to local storage by default. We do not require accounts and do not collect personal data. See the privacy page for details.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date below. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
